Data Deletion
How to delete your Meta/Facebook/Instagram data and Owl AI account information.
You have the right to request deletion of data connected to your Owl AI account, including data received from Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. We process verified deletion requests promptly and will confirm once complete.
Option 1: Disconnect inside Owl AI
Signed-in users can remove a Meta connection directly from Owl AI Settings. Disconnecting revokes Owl AI's access to the Page or Instagram account and deletes the stored access token from our servers.
Option 2: Revoke access on Meta
You can also revoke Owl AI's access from your Facebook account settings:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find Owl AI in the list of active apps.
- Select Remove and confirm. This revokes all access tokens.
Option 3: Request complete deletion
To request deletion of all your Owl AI account data, including any synced Meta data, email us with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account so we can verify ownership.

- We remove stored access tokens and disconnect all linked social accounts.
- We delete or anonymize your business data and user profile within 30 days.
- We send a confirmation email once the request has been completed.
Data retention
Some backup copies may remain in encrypted, access-restricted storage for a limited period for legal, security, or operational reasons. These copies are automatically deleted according to our retention schedule and are not used for any other purpose.
